Strathclyde Fire and Rescue personnel have been in school talking to Upper School pupils about the causes and effects of road traffic accidents.
Their programme, Cut it Out, graphically demonstrates the death and injury caused by car accidents, through video, frank discussion and examination of a crashed car. In particular, the personal stories of the Fire Officers usually leaves the room silent.
The second half of Cut it Out focuses on a crashed car, with pupils acting as the investigators, trying to work out what happened.
