Report from Mrs Millar
Wednesday night was a first outing for two of our new debaters in the Scullion Law Lanarkshire Schools Debate against Uddingston Grammar. Christopher Wilson and Patrick Quinn opposed the motion: This House would require university graduates to work in their country of study for a certain time after graduation.
The boys were praised for their spirited and professional attitude by the judges. Christopher and Patrick did not progress to the next round on this occasion; nevertheless they represented the school very well and they did themselves and the school proud.
