To Make steel iron ore is first mined from the ground and then transported to smelting facilities. It is then smelted in a blast furnace, having all the impurities removed and carbon is added to create steel.

Stainless steel is one of the kinds of steel and is immune to rust (due to chromium). To make steel into stainless you firstly make normal steel and then add chromium, silicon, nickel, carbon, nitrogen and manganese which is melted together in a electric furnace. The steel is then formed, heat treated, descaled and cut.
